A person holding a plaque with a key, showing appreciation for years of service in 2016.

What can we say about Captain Dixon? He has served this department for 60 years. We beleive he is the longest serving  volunteer FireFighter in the State of Colorado. His passion for this department is undeniable. He retired in 2026 but will never really hung up his bunker boots.  His wife Carolyn and himself donated the funds to replace and build station 2 in Parshall. It is officially the Ellison Dixon Station. While now retired from the department, he is always around the station and continues to be a mentor and freind. We will miss you Bill and THANK YOU for 60 years!
